G23 titanium is implant-grade and noticeably lighter, with jewel bars offered internally threaded (thread’s on the ball, not the bar) so nothing rough passes through your piercing. Pick steel if your piercing is healed and easygoing. Pick titanium if your skin’s picky, your piercing is newer, or you just want the lightest option available.
